Most home sales in region in Johnson City

The average price for a house in the Tri-Cities in 2002 was $114,770 down from $115,409 for the same period in 2001.
The region’s highest average sales prices are in Johnson City, where houses sold for an average of $129,633 in 2002.
In Kingsport, the average price was $117,840 in 2002, while the average price for a house in Bristol was $114,594.
Marilyn Robertson, president of the Northeast Tennessee Associate of Realtors, said the busiest area for home sales in the Tri-Cities is in the northwest section of Johnson City. More...
